The variable-geometry turbo (VGT) solves this issue by creating a narrow passageway that causes the exhaust gases to accelerate at a rapid rate and spin the turbine blades of turbo fast, thus helping to improve the overall efficiency of the engine across the entire RPM range.

Inside the Montero Sport, you’ll find firm and supportive leather seat, especially the 8-speed power-adjustable system on the driver’s side. The relatively affordable 4WD has been comfortable even on rough terrains.

The high-contrast instrument cluster in front of the driver’s seat makes you to read the gauge easily, while the magnesium alloy paddle shifters provide a good control over the INVECS 5-speed auto gearbox.

The multimedia and information system with a 7-in liquid crystal display monitor is the biggest improvement inside the center console.

Besides the requisite entertainment feature, you can find real-time information system that will let you know about fuel consumption, atmospheric temperature, outside temperature, drive range, average speed, as well as tire pressure.
It also has an in-built GPS over the dashboard and steering wheel.

Under the Hood

A 3.2-L inline-4 engine under the hood can develop 163 hp that comes mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.
GLS SE 4×4 is powered by a 2.5-L inline-4 that delivers 134 hp, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
