Hindustan Motors is going to launch the new Pajero Sport SUV at the Auto Expo to be held in 2012 January. It has been due for a long time to get released.
Pajero Sport is completely based on Triton platform and it will get assembled in India. The base price of the vehicle will be in the range of 20-23 lakhs.
Pajero Sport is powered by a 2.5-L 16-valve turbocharged intercooled diesel engine for producing 134 bhp and torque of around 32kgm. The vehicle comes with rally-proven shift with selected 4WD and good ground clearance of around 215mm.
